CALL US (480) 314-5033
In the best interests of our clients, our office does not file insurance claims for treatment services. This permits us the time and freedom to provide quality, one-on-one treatment, education and self-care training without the hassles, restrictions or time constraints inherent when accepting insurance. This ultimately leads to better treatment outcomes, fewer sessions and faster healing.
Depending on the coverage and provisions of your specific insurance policy, you may be able to submit your own insurance claim and be reimbursed for charges incurred for therapy services at our office. At your request, we will be happy to provide you with receipts and treatment codes necessary for you to submit a claim to your insurance company. As we do not participate with any insurance company plans, any reimbursement you may receive will be at the “out of network” level. If you do intend to submit a claim to your insurance we encourage you to contact them prior to receiving treatment to determine your benefits and any necessary pre-requisites such as a prescription from your physician and/or the type of care they will allow.
**When compared to the cumulative expense of copays and deductibles at 2-3x per week for insurance-based treatment, the cost for self-pay alternatives like Clinical Massage are often equal or less expensive while providing better outcomes and more time efficiency.
If you participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), your tax-free contributions to the plan can be used for qualified medical expenses not normally covered by health insurance, including Clinical/Medical Massage treatment. Although not always necessary, we recommend asking for a prescription from your physician for HSA/FSA approval. A prescription for Clinical/Medical Massage ensures that your treatment will be considered medically necessary. Most HSA/FSA programs provide a debit card to use for payment of medical expenses which deducts the funds directly from your account. If this is not the case for you, we will be happy to provide a detailed receipt for you to submit a claim for reimbursement of charges. Medical Massage in Scottsdale
Typically, Clinical/Medical Massage treatment for injuries sustained in an auto accident or work related incident will be covered under the associated insurance policy. Please note: Our office does not directly bill your insurance company or accept medical liens against future insurance settlements. We will be happy to provide you with receipts and the procedure codes necessary for you to submit your own claim to insurance or to your attorney for settlement.
